A dedicated Realtor, Krista Cherry has been selling Real Estate in the State of California since 2002. She is the Co-Owner and Broker Associate of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Property Shoppe,  a boutique real estate brokerage offering Word Class Service in a Casual and Caring Environment.

Krista began her career after 10 years in the Language and Technology industries and worked hard to replace her full time income within her first year in Real Estate. She has since built her business on repeat clients and their referrals and she attributes her success to her ability to Lead, Guide and Protect her clients.

In 2013, Krista partnered with fellow Realtor, Donna Wood, and in 2016 the team purchased Ventura Property Shoppe in Downtown Ventura. They have since grown the company to a busy real estate brokerage attracting other like-minded Realtors who have the same Purpose - "for their clients to be so outrageously happy with the help that they provide that they will gladly introduce them to those they care about who also need real estate help. " In 2016, they rebranded as VC Property Shoppe to encompass their presence in all of Ventura County and the surrounding areas and in 2020 partnered with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate to increase their brand awareness with a well-known and respected lifestyle company.

As a mother of two young adults who enjoy soccer, surfing, fishing, diving and other beach activities, Krista is a champion for kids and the Ventura lifestyle. She and Donna support the community through monthly beach clean ups, Businesses with Heart, which offers discounted services to adoptive and foster parents and the Children's Services Auxiliary by donating a portion of all their closings to a fund that supports teenagers transitioning out of the Foster system to their own independence.

With a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Culture and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, Krista especially enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures and relating to people at their level while educating them in her area of expertise, real estate. An avid runner, Krista also encourages a healthy lifestyle which includes taking time to replenish the entire body, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She enjoys teaching and mentoring the young people in her life.

Krista is the Founding President of the Inside Edge Chapter of Business Network International and has been an active member since 2003. She is also a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and By Referral Only Coaching

Krista resides in Ventura with her husband Byron and her two children, Wesley and Faith, and enjoys close relationships with family and friends. She loves to throw last minute dinner parties and keeps an "open door policy" with friends and neighbors alike striving to make them always feel safe, secure and loved in the Cherry household.
